I've been asked several times, by what *seems* to be a huge number of people if I've heard from the "baby" recently. I have said, "no, and I'm not worried" more times than I care to mention. Loving and well meaning friends and family appear to be more concerned than I am about his well-being--and I have to ask myself--is that so? Of course it's not~~but I don't want to appear distant or withdrawn either.
I can't put my finger on anything other than this: God has given me a deep sense of peace about this. About the baby, about his parents, about the situation in general. I know that he is fine, and is well cared for. I know that no governmental or agency paper work is too hard for God, and I know that he has orchestrated this chain of events.
When I look at the definition of peace by Webster (above), I love that the meaning that relates to my situation is: FREEDOM from DISQUIETING or OPPRESSIVE THOUGHTS OR EMOTIONS. Because that's what God has given me in this--FREEDOM.
I am not worried about any part of this which is outside of the realm of my control. I even know that He will provide the money for this--although that is the biggest concern for Jason and I.
I've attached some verses below that talk about God's peace. Check them out. Everyone needs a good dose of peace from God. This is good stuff.
