Art work and the power of "Mama"

I teared up a little over the weekend when I received a picture of one of the notes below from Jeff.

The reality is that this adoption is moving along and I will legally be his Mama very soon. The reality is that he longs for a Mama. The reality is that he doesn't mention a Papa at all, which speaks loudly for Jason and I. Jason will have to work hard to show him what a Godly influence and impact a father can make. I know my Jason is up to the task.

The reality is that we will have 6 (no, that cannot possibly be correct)--Des (1); Jack (2); Jeff (3); Riley (4); Wes (5); Kerme (6)--yes 6 is correct--6 children very soon. Wow. Did I sign up for this? Just kidding haha!

We are super-duper excited about the coming days. We know there will be challenges, but feel very equipped to face them. Can't wait!

Note the round face. He knows me well. :)

This pretty much says: I love you Mama. I think it asks how I am and how the other kids are. And again--I love you Mama. Awwww.

And the inside with one of my favorite verses. How did he know? Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart.
