Legalizations, MOI, USCIS, Visa's and home!

So many have asked, and I wanted to give a small update. Our file is currently in legalizations, which means everything is being checked and double checked.

Next stop is MOI, where permission is granted to submit our dossier to Haitian Immigrations for a passport. Typically, MOI takes around 1 month although many people have been there much longer recently.

The next step is Haitian immigrations, where passports will be issued. This typically takes 1-2 weeks.

Last is  USCIS, US Immigrations, who conduct the orphan investigation. This can take around 1 month.

Last, the file is forwarded to the Visa section, which issues a Visa, usually 3 weeks or so after USCIS approval. One week after the Visa is issued, an exit letter is generated and the boys are free to come home!

Please pray with us during these last stages, we are eager to have them here, but are trusting that God's timing is best.
